FOX Sports holds the English-language broadcast rights for the 2026 FIFA World Cup 2026 on FOX in the United States. The network will air 70 matches with FS1 carrying the remaining 34. Here is a complete guide to what FOX is broadcasting and how to find every match.
FOX VS. FS1 SPLIT
FOX (main broadcast channel): 70 matches
FS1 (cable sports channel): 34 matches
Total: 104 matches across both channels
FOX typically reserves its main broadcast channel for the highest-profile games. Expect all USA matches, both semifinals, the Final and most quarterfinals to air on FOX. The less prominent group stage matches between lower-ranked teams often go to FS1.
PRIME TIME COMMITMENT
FOX has committed to 40 matches in prime time. This is more than one-third of the entire tournament. Prime time is defined as matches with significant US audience potential, primarily those in the 6:00 PM ET to 9:00 PM ET window.
This is a deliberate strategy to build ratings and increase casual fan engagement. Not everyone watches noon group stage matches between lesser-known nations. But when the USA plays at 9:00 PM ET on FOX, the audience is enormous.
THE USA GAMES ON FOX
All three USA group stage games air on FOX in English.

USA vs. Australia: June 19, 3:00 PM ET, FOX
USA vs. UEFA PO-C Winner: June 25, 10:00 PM ET, FOX
All USA knockout round games will air on FOX regardless of time slot.

FOX PROGRAMMING AROUND THE WORLD CUP
FOX plans 340 total hours of World Cup programming. This includes live matches and a daily studio show called FIFA World Cup Live. The studio show runs before and after matches with analysis, highlights and expert commentary.
FOX's team of commentators and analysts includes both American and international soccer personalities. The network spent heavily on talent in preparation for this tournament.
